3/13/09 32.3 wks Growth scan. Lena is progressing well, everything looks good.

3/20/09 33.3 wks Non stress test. Lena had normal accelerations and heart rate ranging from 120 - 140. She measured in at 5 lbs 3 oz. So relieved to be over the 5 pound mark. Staci had some contractions that she did not feel but were recorded by the monitor.

3/23/09 34wks Was to be our amnio to check the maturity of her lungs. However due to a very close call, that was avoided, Staci wasnt instructed not to take her blood thinner so we could not safely have the procedure. This was handled very poorly at the peri's office and we were there for over 2.5 hrs while this was discussed. Very frustrating day but from the ultrasound we learned she is over 5 lbs and breathing on her own and hicupping so this tells us her lungs are very mature. Dont really need the amnio now anyway. The great thing is we now have a scheduled enduction date which means her birthday will be Monday April 20th. We go in about 6:30 that morning.
